I’ve been lucky enough to call two beautiful coastal places home.
I was born and raised in Hyannis on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and in 1995 I found my way south to Ormond-by-the-Sea, Florida.
Different coastlines. Very different winters. But I’ve always felt at home near the water.
That probably explains why some of my favorite pieces to create are coastal wreaths.
Shells give me endless possibilities because no two are exactly alike. Different shapes, colors and textures can completely change the personality of a design. A shell wreath can be soft and neutral, colorful and playful, or designed specifically to complement the colors of someone’s home.
And yes, I have shells!
If you see one of my shell wreaths and love the idea but would prefer different colors or a different look, don’t assume the one you see is your only choice. I keep shells on hand specifically so I can create custom coastal pieces.
That’s true of many of the wreaths you’ll see from Danika’s Touch.

The photos on this website and on my social media aren’t meant to be a catalog where you have to choose Item A, B or C. They’re inspiration.
See something you love? Show me.
Like part of one wreath and the colors from another? Tell me.
Have an idea I haven’t made before? Even better.
Some of the most fun projects start with, “I don’t know if you can do this, but…”
Those are usually the ones that get my wheels turning.
